Genealogical tree building instructions

1. After you have gathered the necessary information you need i.e. the date of birth, date of death, photographs, number of children, you can begin the construction of the tree.
2. Firstly place a cardboard as a background (the size of which will depend on how big the tree will be) on which the construction will be made. Is proposed that the board has the color of the sky or any other color. Then put the trunk N1 which is the oldest of the root (e.g. grandfather). If the children of our great-grandfather is more than 5, add and elongation (raising of the trunk ).
3. Start adding branches in the main trunk (right and left of the body), as many as the children. One of these branches is for your grandfather. It is recommended the placement of the twigs to be based on the number of children that each one has, i.e. those who have the most children to be placed higher in the tree.
4. Then from the edge of these twigs add new branches in each branch, for your dad and his brothers, i.e. for your uncles.
5. Then add new branches at their ends so as many children each of them has e.g. in your father’s branch put your own and your brothers and in your uncles branches put your cousins.
6. Then put new branches for your children as well as in your brothers branches depending on how many children each one has e.g. your nephews. In the same way put in the other branches of your cousins.
7. Following, put new branches in the branches of your children i.e. your grandchildren.
8. If any of the branches is small and prevents you somehow, you can put the branch N4 which is longer than the others.
9. Once you find the right position of all the twigs create free space to add the foundations of the photos . Then, under or beside the photos stick stickers where you write name, date of birth and death.
10. After you have defined the correct form of your tree, start from the trunk (root) to stick (with glue stick in the box) in a fixed position on the board.
11. Then, cut and glue pictures upon pictures of round bases .
12. Finishing the construction, place it in a nice frame and hang it in a prominent place in your house to enjoy your work.
    It is important today to know our roots because it has established that: WE KNOW MORE FOR OUR ANCIENT ANCESTORS, THAN FOR OUR IMMEDIATE RELATIVES.
